Our school has many children who are gifted and talented in a particular area and often more than one area. They are sometimes children who also have a special educational need. We recognise abilities in academic and practical performance, artistic, musical and creative talent, physical abilities, leadership abilities and emotional intelligence.
We have a register where we note special gifts and talents and we try to provide opportunities for children to develop these abilities further through differentiated teaching, enrichment experiences and participation in special events.
